- Payment information: billing details processed and stored by Stripe, Inc. InFieldTek does not store full payment card numbers
- Emergency contact information: contact details you provide for emergency notification purposes
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you use FieldTek, we automatically collect:
- Usage data: message frequency, feature usage, response times, and interaction patterns
- Device information: phone number, carrier information, and device type
- Location data: GPS coordinates when provided for job site clock-in or location-based features
- Log data: server logs, API call records, and error logs
- Behavioral health metrics: anonymized usage patterns used to optimize service delivery
2.3 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third-party services you connect to FieldTek, including:
- QuickBooks Online: customer records, invoice history, and service data when you authorize the integration
- Stripe: payment processing status and transaction records
- Twilio: message delivery status and call records

InFieldTek uses the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the FieldTek Service
- Process your transactions and manage your subscription
- Generate AI-powered business documents, quotes, invoices, and analyses on your behalf

- Facilitate crew dispatch, job assignment, and team communications
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes. FieldTek is ad-free.

We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We share data with third-party providers who help us operate FieldTek, including Anthropic PBC, Twilio Inc., Stripe Inc., Supabase Inc., DigitalOcean LLC, Google LLC, Deepgram Inc., and ElevenLabs Inc. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
- Business transfers: If InFieldTek is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your information is transferred and subject to a different privacy policy.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
- With your consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.
We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in data, will never be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in the United States, East US region, on AWS-backed cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase Inc. Additional processing infrastructure is hosted on DigitalOcean LLC servers in the San Francisco region.
InFieldTek implements the following security measures to protect your data:
- Encryption at rest using AES-256 encryption
- Encryption in transit using TLS/SSL for all data transmissions
- Post-quantum cryptographic standards including CRYSTALS-Kyber and CRYSTALS-Dilithium
- Access controls limiting employee access to customer data on a need-to-know basis
- Regular security monitoring and incident response procedures
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specific retention periods include:
- Active account data: retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days following cancellation
- Free trial data: retained for 30 days following trial expiration if no paid subscription is initiated
- Conversation history and photos: retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days
- Financial and transaction records: retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax and accounting regulations
- Backup data: may be retained for up to 90 days in backup systems following deletion from primary systems
You may request earlier deletion of your data by contacting kevindonahue@fieldtek.co, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you

8. Cookies and Tracking
FieldTek's primary interface is SMS-based and does not use cookies for core functionality. Our website at fieldtek.co may use standard web cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site.
We do not use tracking technologies for advertising purposes and do not participate in cross-site tracking or behavioral advertising networks.
9. Children's Privacy
FieldTek account holders must be at least 18 years of age. FieldTek is not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Account holders are responsible for ensuring appropriate parental or guardian consent exists for any minor users added to their accounts.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
FieldTek integrates with third-party services including Intuit QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Twilio, Anthropic, Google, Deepgram, and ElevenLabs. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. Each provider maintains its own privacy policy governing their data practices.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via SMS to your registered number and update the Effective Date at the top of this Policy.
Your continued use of FieldTek after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
